Our first-ever event in Queensland was a memorable one, and we’re thrilled to share the experience with all of you! The Good Food & Wine Show in Brisbane was packed with amazing moments, from meeting enthusiastic gin lovers to introducing our Award-winning gins to a new crowd. We couldn’t have asked for a warmer welcome to the sunny capital of Queensland, and the response was truly beyond what we’d imagined.

A Warm Queensland Welcome: Bright Night’s First Event in Brisbane
As we set up our stall in the bustling Distillers Pavilion, we felt the buzz and anticipation from the crowd. For many visitors, this was their first time experiencing Bright Night Gin, and we were thrilled to introduce our unique gin expressions. Queenslanders love their gin, and seeing everyone’s excitement as they tasted our range – from the fruity allure of our Pink Gin to the smooth complexity of our Barrel Aged Gin – was the highlight of our weekend.
As the hours passed, more and more people were stopping by, drawn in by word-of-mouth recommendations, curiosity, and a sense of community. It was humbling to see our gin resonating so well with the Brisbane crowd, and their enthusiasm made our first Queensland experience unforgettable.
“The Best Gin We’ve Ever Had”
We were overwhelmed with the positive feedback from everyone who visited our stall. Time and time again, we heard the words, “This is the best gin we’ve ever had!” People were impressed with the quality and taste of our gin, and it was amazing to see the reactions as they sampled each expression.
Each gin has its own story and character, and it’s clear that our careful crafting of Bright Night Gin has paid off. We heard comments about the smooth, well-balanced flavors of our gin, the unique botanical profiles, and how each expression tasted like a unique adventure. From the first-time gin tasters to the seasoned connoisseurs, everyone seemed to connect with the quality and craftsmanship that goes into every bottle of Bright Night Gin.
Barrel Aged Gin: Sold Out and Loved by All
Our Barrel Aged Gin was a standout favorite at the event. Not only did it receive rave reviews, but we were completely sold out of our big bottles by the end of the show! The response was incredible; everyone who tried it was taken by the smooth, buttery notes with hints of vanilla and caramel – a true testament to the aging process that makes this gin so unique.
The combination of our gin’s signature botanicals with the rich, oaky influence of the chardonnay barrels created a taste experience that resonated with the Brisbane crowd. It was truly rewarding to see how well-received our Barrel Aged Gin was, and we’re already working hard to ensure we have enough stock for next year’s event (because we’re definitely planning on bringing even more next time!).
Tasting Packs: A Perfect Christmas Gift
As Christmas approaches, many visitors were excited to discover our gin tasting packs as a gift option for the holiday season. The tasting packs, featuring mini bottles of our gin expressions, offer a way to experience the full range of Bright Night flavors without committing to a full-sized bottle.
We heard time and again that these tasting packs were the “perfect gift idea” for gin-loving friends and family. The feedback was fantastic, with many people picking up packs on the spot or noting down our details to shop online. Knowing that our tasting packs will be shared around Christmas tables, bringing people together over their love of gin, is something we’re incredibly grateful for.
Pink Gin: A New Favorite
Our Pink Gin also stole the spotlight with its vibrant berry flavor and distinct taste profile. Many people described it as the Best Pink Gin they’ve ever had – a compliment we don’t take lightly! Unlike most pink gins that lean heavily on sweetness, our Pink Gin is crafted with Murtis berries from Tasmania, which add a natural sweetness balanced with tart, berry skin notes for complexity and depth.
People appreciated that our Pink Gin was refreshingly different, with a natural flavor profile that stood out from the usual pink gins on the market. We loved seeing the surprised expressions and hearing the enthusiastic feedback. The uniqueness of our Pink Gin seemed to capture hearts and taste buds alike, and we’re thrilled to welcome so many new fans of Australia’s Best Pink Gin.
Extra Giveaway Alert: Adding a Second Prize for the Competition
We know that competitions add a bit of extra fun to events like these, so we decided to host a giveaway for everyone who visited our stand. Given the enthusiasm from the crowd, we thought – why not make it even better? So, we’re thrilled to announce that we’re adding a second prize to the competition: a Bright Night Gin Tasting Pack!

Supporting the Penguins and Planting Trees: Giving Back
One thing we’re particularly proud of is the support that Bright Night Gin is able to provide to two amazing causes. We’re partnered with Friends of Burnie Penguins, supporting conservation efforts to protect Tasmania’s Little Penguins. Many people at the show were touched by this mission, and we loved sharing our passion for penguin conservation with our new Queensland friends.
Alongside this, we also work with Eden Reforestation Projects to plant trees and help offset our carbon footprint, ensuring that our love for crafting gin goes hand-in-hand with sustainability. Supporting Bright Night Gin means supporting these important causes, and we’re grateful to everyone who makes that possible.
What’s Next for Bright Night Gin in Queensland?
Thanks to the fantastic turnout and response at the Brisbane Good Food & Wine Show, we’re already planning for next year.
