We’re thrilled to announce that Bright Night Gin will once again be at Ginuary Hobart, Tasmania’s original and best gin festival, on 17th and 18th January 2026. Set against the stunning Hobart waterfront, this summer celebration of all things gin has become a highlight of our calendar, and this year promises to be the most exciting yet.
A Weekend of Good Spirits and Great Company
If you’ve ever been to Ginuary, you already know it’s not just an event, it’s a vibe. Sunshine, live music, delicious local food, and over 100 incredible gins to taste all included with your entry ticket. It’s where the best distillers in Tasmania (and beyond) come together to pour, chat, and celebrate their craft.
This year, we’re especially excited to return to the festival grounds with something truly special: our newest award-winning Barrel Aged Gin and, if all goes to plan, a sneak peek at our Bright Night Negroni.

Showcasing Our New Award-Winning Barrel Aged Gin
We can’t wait to introduce you to the latest evolution of our Chardonnay Barrel Aged Gin, fresh off its incredible wins at the Australian Gin Awards where it was crowned Best VIC Matured Gin.
This batch has been aged longer than ever before in French oak Chardonnay barrels from the Tamar Valley, creating a smooth, buttery spirit with layers of vanilla, caramel, and gentle oak. It’s a gin that bridges the gap between gin and whisky lovers, rich enough to sip neat but elegant in cocktails like the Vintage Negroni or an Old Fashioned twist.
If you’ve never tried a Barrel Aged Gin before, this is your chance to see what happens when craftsmanship, time, and Tasmanian character come together in a bottle.

We’ve been quietly experimenting behind the scenes to craft what might become our most balanced Bright Night Negroni yet, one that perfectly complements our gins and the Tasmanian ingredients that inspire them.

From Tasmania With Love
Bright Night Gin was born in Tasmania, inspired by the Aurora Australis and made with pure Tasmanian water and botanicals. Every bottle tells a story — from the wild Kunzea and pepperberry that flavour our Wild Tasmanian Gin, to the murtis berries that give our Bright Night Pink Gin its colour and charm.
Events like Ginuary remind us why we do what we do. They’re a chance to meet the people who drink, gift, and share our gin; to hear your stories; and to celebrate how far the Tasmanian distilling community has come.

Tickets usually sell out early, so we recommend booking soon via the Ginuary Hobart website. Your ticket includes unlimited tastings from all participating distillers, access to the Ginuary Bar, and the chance to meet more than 40 local and national gin producers.
