Top 10 Australian Gins 2021 – The Gin Queen
The Gin Queen “Caroline Childerley” was the first Australian member to be inducted into The Gin Guild and in 2020 was named Icons of Gin ‘Communicator of the Year’. She has been the judge for multiple gin awards including the World Gin Awards, and in our view the most influential name in Gin in Australia.
We were pleasantly surprised when our gin was included in the Top 10 Australian Gins List on her website.
Tasting Australia Spirit Awards 2021 – Silver Award – London Dry Gin
Tasting Australia celebrates South Australia’s culinary delights.
This was the first gin awards that we entered since launching the Bright Night Wild Tasmanian Gin. We were also very excited to be in an awards show that was being patron’ed by Bill Lark himself. Being a relatively young gin, we were happy to rub shoulders with the big names and share the limelight among the winners.
Tasting Australia started in 1997 as a media focused festival, led by Ian Parmenter and the Consuming Passions team. In 2014 the event took a new direction with the management brought within Events South Australia (ESA) – the South Australian Government’s major events arm – under the leadership of chef and television personality Simon Bryant, wine expert Paul Henry and Australian food icon Maggie Beer as patron.
2021 Australian Distilled Spirits Awards – Bronze Award – London Dry Gin
Established in 2015, the Australian Distilled Spirits Awards is the first and only national awards program recognising excellence in Australian distilled spirits and liqueurs.
Recognising the long tradition of distilling in Australia as well as the new generation of producers, the Awards provide Australian distillers with an essential benchmarking opportunity.
Bright Night Wild Tasmanian Gin is proud to have been awarded a Bronze Medal. We are so thrilled to gain some recognition locally in Melbourne.
