Gin Mojito

Ingredients

  • 60 ml gin
  • Mint
  • Lime wedges
  • 15 ml sugar syrup (or to taste)
  • Ice

Method

  • Add three lime wedges to glass and muddle (squash to release juice).
  •  Place 8 to 10 mint leaves in the palm of your hand and ‘clap’. This will release the essential oils. Add to glass.
  •  Add ice.
  •  Add gin and sugar syrup.
  •  Stir. Stir. Stir.

Garnish

  • Add mint sprig to garnish.

Benny the Barman’s tip

  • Try not to tear the mint leaves as this can add a bitter flavour.
