The French 75’s Origins

The French 75 was created as early as 1915 in Paris’ New York Bar by barman Harry MacElhone. The contemporary French 75’s recipe was first printed in 1927. Enjoy this drink with the recipe below!

French 75 Ingredients:

  • 45 ml Bright Night Gin
  • 60 ml Champagne
  • 20 ml Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 15 ml simple syrup
  • Lemon Strip & Zest

How to make a French 75 cocktail:

  1. Pour Bright Night Gin, Lemon Juice, and Simple Syrup into a shaker with ice.
  2. Shake it for 25 seconds.
  3. Strain the mixture into a glass of Champagne with ice.
  4. Garnish with lemon strip and zest. Cheers!
