Gin Pairing Night

Gin lovers, rejoice! Last Friday, we were proud to partner with @oldhabitscbw in hosting a gin and food pairing night which was a feast for the senses. Not only did the attendees sample all three of our gins, there were also delicious Tasmanian cheese and meats to go along with the gins, making for a truly indulgent evening.

It was a great turnout with ginthusiats who were all eager to taste the curated flavours of Tasmania. Samantha from @oldhabitscbw started the night, and welcomed everyone with a cocktail on arrival, a Bright Night pink gin sour or a Bright Night Wild Tasmanian Gin and Tonic. We had brought all our gin to the tasting, including our brand new Chardonnay barrel aged gin. To complement the gins, Samantha had a selection of cheeses and meats that had been carefully chosen to bring out the best in each drink.

There was a lot of gin tasting, great chatter and great food. The cheeses and meat selection was equally impressive, with a range of flavors and textures that not just matched the delicious characters of our gin, but also kept our taste buds entertained all night long.

Your enthusiasm and love of gin made the night truly special. We hope that you all had as much fun as we did, and that you left feeling inspired to explore the world of gin even further.

Pin Pairing Night Event at Old Habits CBW

Get around the new way to taste gin! Bright Night is bringing 3 of their lovely gins curated with some delicious accompaniments to Old Habits CBW.

You’ll be welcomed with a cocktail on arrival, choice between a gin and tonic or a pink gin sour. Soon after Suman from Bright Night Distillery will walk you through the gins as Samantha from Old Habits will explain each food pairing! Every platter will also come with olives & crackers in addition to the food pairings.

We will have a giveaway of their Gin Gift Pack as well on the night (50ml bottles). You can pre-order bottles of gin on the evening, but keep in mind the Chardonnay Barrel Aged Gin has limited bottles so be sure to order that on the night or you may be disappointed.
