• Handful of basil
  • sugar
  • 60ml gin
  • 30ml fresh lime juice
  • basil leaves for garnish


  • The first step is making the basil syrup. Mix equal parts sugar and water and add a bunch of basil leaves. Let it simmer and let it cool down. Strain it to create basil syrup.
  • Mix 2 parts gin (60ml) 1 parts lime juice (30ml) and 1 part basil syrup (30 ml) and shake
  • Strain the drink into a glass with ice
  • Garnish with basil leaves and/or cucumber slice(s)
